Within the first ten seconds of the show. I probably will never be able to explain all the twisted ways they DESTROYED Sword of Truth, human life spans don’t run that long, but I will point out a handful of gross errors that I noticed It killed the story, Cara, Zed, Denna, Chase, Darken Rahl, Jensen, Richard, and the worst butchery hands down was KAHLAN!!!!! “Legend of the Seeker” was a couple seasons of mass murder. I saw about 2 minutes of the show before I was cursing, screaming, calling the network, and swearing an undying vengeance upon every single person that had ANYTHING to do with it. I missed the premiere, but later I finally caught an episode. When I heard they were doing the TV show, I was THRILLED that I would finally get to SEE all the characters I had grown to love and I was counting the seconds until it premiered. These women were IDOLS to me after what they had gone through and how formidable a force they were after all of it. Literally since I was 12 years old, I dreamt of being a Mord-Sith.
The result was that I had VERY HIGH EXPECTATIONS for the show as well as accurate character portrayals. Fair warning, I have to point out that I have been a Sword of Truth FANATIC for EIGHTEEN YEARS, and that the Mord-Sith have been my FAVORITE characters for the same amount of time.
